If you do not have a tape recorder and would like to receive the messages on tape, please contact the church office and a tape recorder will be provided to you. Luther Johnson celebrated his 99th birthday on March 1, 2008. His Church Family honored him for this milestone on March 13, 2008 with a luncheon and "two" cakes.
Twenty people attended the VA Baptist Annual "Sing and Share" event at First Baptist Church, Alexandria, VA, May 14 - 15, 2007. Over 200 people from many churches from throughout the state joined to rehearse, share in fellowship, and present a concert as the closing event. Our group also did some sightseeing, especially Mount Vernon, before returning to Abingdon.
